MakerSpace Related Items

In the Fall of 2013, I created a Makerspace at the Yorktown High School Library. I started small, with some Legos and white board tables, and from there, it grew! The space had a variety of materials, including items to explore circuitry, Micro-computing, robotics, 3D printers, board games, crafting and so much more. I partnered with teachers and clubs to utilize the space for class projects, open making and to create experiences that are beneficial to all. In our first year we saw so much growth in student participation and engagement.

Below is a collection of some presentations, articles, blog posts and other items I have created or been a part of that explore Making and Makerspaces.
